Solar Splash tent and banner

If the rest of the week's weather is like today, there will be abundant sunshine and wonderful weather for the event.

« The paddock area is ready for the teams to arrive, and the welcome banners are hung.

The scoring tents and high line are in place and ready to go. Many thanks to the sponsors that have made the event possible. »

Monday, June 20, 2005 - Getting set up (without George)

Tent stakes being driven into the ground

This is the first year that SOLAR SPLASH has been run without the man that started it all, George Ettenheim. We are stumbling along and learning, but we'll get there.

« Synchronized stake-driving was the first "event" this year.

Two 40' x 100' tents are being used this year. Each team will have a 20' x 20' space in the paddock area. »
